| History Behind Our History |
Chapman Chase is being developed by the Keystone Companies of Avon, Connecticut. We have a history of developing projects that are sensitive to the community, the land and its history.
Chapman Chase is no exception. Its name is chiseled in local history. The streets, Chapman Chase and Mather Circle, were named for Lucius Chapman and Talcott Mather, two of the town's early First Selectmen. The street of Chamberlain Crossing was named for James Chamberlain who operated the ferry across the Connecticut river starting 1783.
